Job Role : Sales Manager - Lab Equipment Department: Sales Experience: 5 Years Salary:75k Location:Rajasthan for Nort region and Maharashtra, Goa for West region Gender:Male Job description The Assistant Sales Manager is a vital member of the sales team, responsible for driving sales of incubator shakers/growth chambers and related equipment within a designated territory. This role involves identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, presenting technical solutions, preparing quotations, negotiating contracts, and providing post-sales support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales as a profession. Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, online research, attending industry events, and following up on marketing leads. Needs Analysis: Understand customer requirements by asking probing questions and actively listening to their needs related to incubator shakers/plant growth chambers and their research objectives. This will often involve understanding their specific research protocols, and experimental designs. Technical Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations, highlighting the features, benefits, and applications of the equipment that matches their requirement. Explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Quotation Preparation & Negotiation: Take the support of back office to prepare accurate and competitive quotations considering customer specifications, pricing guidelines, and delivery schedules. Negotiate contract terms and close deals effectively. Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities using sales forecast accurately and consistently. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the BioPharma industry. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing support and addressing their concerns. Ensure timely payment collection, customer satisfaction and generate repeat business.
