Job description

Examine patients to diagnose digestive system conditions and develop treatment plans. Prescribe and administer medications to treat digestive system conditions. Perform medical and surgical procedures to diagnose and treat digestive system conditions. Collaborate with other medical professionals, including radiologists and oncologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex digestive system conditions. Educate patients on how to care for their digestive system, and provide recommendations for dietary modifications and lifestyle changes. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies and blood tests. Maintain detailed patient records and accurately document all medical procedures and treatments.
